New ambulance vehicles delivered to Lithuanian medical institutions

As a result of won open contest, ALTAS Commercial Transport recently produced 24 units of A type ambulance vehicles. The ambulances will be used for patients’ transportation between regions. ALTAS Commercial Transport has an extensive experience in manufacturing ambulances and most of them are being exported to countries in Western Europe. For the first time in company history, Fiat busses were used in manufacturing the ambulance vehicles. Additional 10G acceleration test was done given the first experience working with Fiat. The test ensures the safety of equipment construction. Furthermore, ALTAS Commercial Transport engineers installed more functional seats and higher efficiency heating system in medical sector as well as made additional spaces for fixing and storage of medical equipment and medicaments. The vehicles were officially delivered during the press conference, where the CEO of ALTAS Commercial Transport gifted a handmade ceramic Guardian Angel to the Minister of Health of The Republic of Lithuania Aurelijus Veryga as a symbol of care and protection.
