Major Milestones

2021 “ALTAS EV Cityline” low entry electric minibus was awarded a golden medal at the Product of the Year awards in the machinery and equipment industry category by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists.

2019 “ALTAS Viator” the first midi class tourism bus manufactured by ALTAS AUTO, received the prestigious “A’Design Award” Silver nomination 2019 for its design.

2018 Became the first bus manufacturer in Europe to develop a new product together with Volkswagen AG –the Volkswagen Crafter Cityline low entry minibus. Prior to the launch of this project, Volkswagen had no such products within their bus fleet.

2018 Presented the first midibus produced in the independent Lithuania – ALTAS Viator, which was awarded a golden medal at the Product of the Year awards in the machinery and equipment industry category.

2017 Launched its second production line for fleet projects.

2016 Received Green Energy Certification.

2016 Became market leader in terms of sales in Scandinavia and a leader in its field in Western Europe.

2015 The first producer in Europe to introduce a plug-in hybrid to a low-entry Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cityline bus.

2014 received ISO 14001 certification (Environmental standard).

2014 Reached rapid growth by increasing production capacities and applying LEAN methodologies.

2014 Mercedes-Benz Cityline named “Product of the Year” in Lithuania.

2008 Network of professional dealers was launched: company commenced cooperation with professional sales agents in Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland and other European countries.

2007 Became the first producer from Eastern Europe to participate in the major bus exhibition Busworld in Belgium and offer products in Western and Northern Europe.

2007 Entered into the European market with the establishment of its first representative abroad.

2005 Company became one of the largest reprocessors of various purpose vehicles in Lithuania after only a few years of operation.
